Simply the very best Vets. They have always been there for us in both happy (new puppy) and sad (palliative care) times 24/7. Kind, caring and they get to know owners and their pets. You always get a warm welcome from the whole team.

Leading voice and leader by example in the push for ever higher standards of veterinary care within the industry? Check.
Largest employee-owned veterinary practice in the world? That’s us.
First vets in Europe to become a certified B Corp? Yep, we did that too!
We’re constantly looking for ways to improve, whether that’s our commitment to the environment, the quality of our service or the support we offer our teams.
That’s why it’s so satisfying when people outside of Pennards take note of the work that we’re doing, and that’s exactly what happened in 2022 when we achieved B Corp status.
Certified B Corps are companies that meet exceptionally high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The process examines a company, from supply chain to charitable giving and employee benefits. It’s a long and difficult road to win certification, and very few companies pass first time – but we did. And yes, we do take that as a compliment!
Other well-known names that have achieved B Corp status include Patagonia, The Body Shop, BrewDog, TOMS, Ben and Jerry’s and Innocent Drinks – putting us in the same league as some of the most ethical and sustainable companies on the planet.
“We’ve always strived to be ethical and minimise our environmental impact as much as possible, and the next step was to become a fully certified sustainable business. Ultimately, we exist to benefit our people, the communities we work in and the environment, rather than solely focusing on profit, and becoming a B Corp is the highest level of external recognition of this. The accreditation is incredibly thorough and examined every area of the business, as well as all our policies to ensure what we have put in place are robust and impactful. We’re extremely proud to achieve B Corp status and there’s no doubt that it will be transformational for the business.”

Pennard Vets are lovely. They treat your beloved pets as if they are their own. Staff are all patient, kind and understanding of the crazy love we have for our fur babies. We’ve been going here for eight years and I wouldn’t dream of taking our lil girlie anywhere else.

Staff are lovely and Ralph my dog is always so excited to visit – especially if he is due to see Amanda! She is fab with him and He clearly loves her. Highly recommend the Langley Park branch.
