Pennard Vets

Maidstone

Welcome to Pennard Vets, Maidstone

Our Maidstone practice joined the Pennard family in 2015 and is a friendly local practice close to central Maidstone, offering consulting, diagnostics and a wide range of complex surgery on-site. Our team has further qualifications in medicine and feline ultrasound, and we were one of the first practices in the country to be recognised as a Cat Friendly Clinic by the International Society for Feline Medicine. We are also now the base of Dr Mark Rowland, one of the most senior exotic vets in the country, and someone many of you will know from his exotics work in the area.

Our practice has been the happy home to Fred, our ginger cat, for over 10 years, and when our team aren’t doting on him you may find them out and about with their pets at the lovely Mote Park and Teston Park.

Pet Health Club

We do things differently, and have been for over 125 years. We’re the world’s largest employee-owned vet group – something we’re very proud of. Our Pet Health Club works differently, too. We offer our members unlimited vet visits throughout the year as standard. We love our patients, and we believe in giving them the right care, in the right way and at the right time. We feel that the best way to do this is to empower you to bring them in to see us, or chat to us via a video consult, whenever you have a concern about their wellbeing.

Our Pet Health Club is central to our commitment to making our pricing as transparent as possible, which also includes our efforts to set fixed prices for many procedures – which you can learn more about here.

Supporting our local community

We take great pride in giving back to the Maidstone community, and contribute wherever we can, including raising money annually for our charity of the year, giving talks at local schools such as Archbishop Courtenay Primary School and careers fairs held at local secondary schools. We also care for local guide dogs as they go through their training.
