Pennard Vets

Sevenoaks

Welcome to Pennard Vets, Sevenoaks

We were based in our original Sevenoaks practice from when we were first established in 1895 – we even took our name from the building! But in 2024 we made the emotional yet exciting move 100m down the road to our new, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital at Pembroke Road.

While we’ll be sorry to say goodbye to our former home, our new site gives us an ideal layout to care for our patients, as well as being approximately 60% bigger. Facilities include separate dog, cat and exotic wards, a CT scanner, dental suite and a privately accessed bereavement room, as well as housing the group’s 24-hour emergency hospital. We have also incorporated a wide range of green technology and recycling initiatives – a key reason why we were the first veterinary practice in Europe to become B-Corp certified in 2022.

We have a large car park on site, and easy access to so many great dog walking spots – which is great when we have up to eight team member dogs here with us on any one day, which makes for great lunchtime play sessions! On our days off you might spot our team with their pets at Knole Park or around Bradbourne Lakes.

Pet Health Club

We do things differently, and have been for over 125 years. We’re the world’s largest employee-owned vet group – something we’re very proud of. Our Pet Health Club works differently, too. We offer our members unlimited vet visits throughout the year as standard. We love our patients, and we believe in giving them the right care, in the right way and at the right time. We feel that the best way to do this is to empower you to bring them in to see us, or chat to us via a video consult, whenever you have a concern about their wellbeing.

Our Pet Health Club is central to our commitment to making our pricing as transparent as possible, which also includes our efforts to set fixed prices for many procedures – which you can learn more about here.

Supporting our local community

We are a real staple of the Sevenoaks community, having been here for well over a century. We take great pride in giving back, and regularly give talks at local schools such as Walthamstow Hall and Dunton Green Primary School, scout meetings and events. We also hold educational events at our client evenings and with local, pet-friendly business groups.
